[ Product Features ]

This is a traditional matured noodle from Banshu, a noodle production area, so the noodles are firm.

The noodles are crisp and smooth, and do not stretch easily, so they can be used for nyu-men.

Boiling time is only 2 minutes, making it easy to prepare.

 

[ About the product development ]

We developed somen as one of the products in the 5-serving series.

First of all, Banshu is known for its somen noodles.

We have a combination of raw materials that places the highest priority on the “smoothness,” “crispness,” and “smoothness through the throat” of somen.

Our goal was to create a “soft” somen that was matured further without losing this quality.

We developed this somen in order to make it easy to eat.

[ How to boil well ]

[1] Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pot. (Boil 1 liter of water in a large pot (about 1 liter per 100 grams of somen).

[2] Add the somen noodles and boil for 2 minutes. If the water seems to spill over, turn down the heat.

[3] After boiling, quickly remove the noodles to a colander and rinse them well in cold water, then cool thoroughly before draining.
