Hyogo Prefecture Dried Noodle Association is engaged in activities to ensure a stable supply of dry noodles, improve quality, deepen understanding of the merits of Banshu dry noodles, and increase demand.

We also hold events and gatherings to promote the dried noodle products of our member companies.

Banshu noodles are made mainly of wheat from Hyogo and Okayama prefectures, which is ideal for noodles with strong tenacity, and high-quality salt, which is famous for its salt fields in Ako and Oshio.

Banshu Noodle, which boasts of its superior quality and unique taste, was certified as a superior specialty product of Hyogo Prefecture in 1971, and is highly evaluated along with hand-pulled somen, and is widely sold throughout Japan and overseas as a secondary processed wheat food.

In addition to the fact that the Japanese are primarily grain eaters, dried noodles are very good at preserving food and are recognized as an extremely simple processed food.
