This is a salt-free somen noodles made from 100% Japanese wheat, without using any salt, and using only boiling water to knead.
The amount of Na is only 1mg, which is the amount of Na contained in wheat and water.
It is ideal for health-conscious customers.
[ Why did we develop this product? ]
After much trial and error, we finally arrived at the boiling water kneading method in order to create a healthy and tasty somen that was not yet available in Japan, without using any salt.
We tried several kinds of raw materials and found the best one to be 100% Japanese wheat.
[ The best way to boil ]
[1] Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pot. (Bring a large pot of water to a boil (about 1 liter per 100 grams of somen).
[2] Add the somen noodles and boil for about 3 minutes. Turn down the heat if the noodles start to spill.
[3] After boiling, quickly remove the noodles to a colander and rinse them in cold water, letting them cool thoroughly before draining.
