When somen is matured after being made, it becomes firmer and more delicious.

The products are packed in a well-ventilated box and aged in a special warehouse for more than a year until they are ready to eat.

This is an excellent specialty product recommended by Hyogo Prefecture.

[ How to boil well ]

[1] First, make the dipping soup and prepare the condiments.

[2] Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Use about 800 milliliters for each bunch of somen (about 1 serving).

[3] Add somen noodles and boil for 3 minutes.(Adjust the heat according to your preference.)

[4] After boiling, quickly remove to a colander and rinse well under cold water. Let cool enough to handle, then drain and serve.

[5] Serve in a bowl with soup. Garnish with ginger and chopped green onions to enhance the flavor.
