FOODEX JAPAN 2023 Report! Day 3

FOODEX JAPAN 2023 We are now on the third day.

We will confirm the business meetings, tastings, and promotional materials that are coming in today.

The number of visitors on the second day was 21,042.

We expect that the number of visitors on the third day will also be quite large.

Now let’s pick up the tasting corner today.

The cooking and tasting area at the council booth is staffed by a cooking specialist.

Dried noodle professionals prepare a variety of delicious dried noodles, from somen, udon, soba, and ramen.

Each company has developed its own products with particular attention to boiling time and cooking methods.

He has the skills to bring out the best flavor from each product.

Basically, BNEA aims for “easy,” “convenient,” and “tasty,” but let’s let the professionals feel their skills here!

At the tasting area, dried noodles from each company will be laid out along with recipes for the best way to eat each noodle.

The most popular cooked noodles from each company will then be served every 30 minutes.

Somen, soba, udon, and ramen noodles, as well as cold and hot noodles, will be available at the tasting corner.

The cooked noodles served for tasting are gone in no time!

Dry noodle ramen (Chinese noodle) is really delicious.

Mashiro-chan and Iwai-chan from Banshu Sisters also tasted ramen.

You just don’t know unless you try it!

We can’t tell you how good it tastes!

If you are interested in the tasting, each company will provide more detailed explanations about their products at the business meeting corner.

Buyers who have made reservations for business meetings in advance will have their meetings in a special room.

There seemed to be a succession of questions about gluten-free products, and we feel that the gluten-free market is expanding.

Toa Food Industries has many gluten-free products with an eye toward overseas markets, and they seemed to have caught the attention of overseas buyers.

The third day was also super busy, but each company completed its mission and the event ended successfully.

And…

In the evening, all members, secretariat, and vendors gathered for a get-together.

It’s a wonder we haven’t had one before…

“How about this way of cooking?

“What if we did it better?”

What if we use a VTuber to explain on screen at overseas exhibitions?

Many suggestions were made that can be utilized in future PR activities.

We usually compete with each other as rivals, but in BNEA activities, we work as one to spread Banshu dried noodles to the world.

Tomorrow is the last day of the exhibition.

We will do our best to promote Banshu Dry Noodles as our final project for the 2022 fiscal year!
